Bore da, I'm Sylvie, owner of Sewn4u.uk and Trefeglwys-Refills. In March 2021, I started making alternatives to single-use products such as cosmetic and sanitary pads.

For many years, I've been avoiding single-use plastic whenever possible and got in the habit of refilling my empties at my local zero-waste shop.

I moved to Trefeglwys in March 2022. When the refill station in Newtown closed, I was left with nowhere to go to refill my empties. I therefore decided to branch out and created Trefeglyws-Refills, which opened on 1st June 2022. I hope by offering competitive prices, more people will be encouraged to refill their empties.
